Miss Christensen
Hi! My name is Erica Christensen and I have been at Mordialloc Beach since 2002 (though with a break to start my family). In 2012 I returned from family leave to share the Prep class with Miss Angwin and we continued to work together until the end of 2015. In 2016 I begun working as a full time teacher in the Prep room. Working in the Prep room is always an amazing learning experience and it is wonderful to see the children grow and learn so much in their first year at school.
I have been very lucky to be at such a great school. The children and staff are a teriffic team to be part of. I am originally from Sydney and taught there for seven years as an integration aide and as a class teacher. I also taught in London for two years and in my second year of living in Melbourne I begun at this great school. I have taught in many places and I think Mordialloc Beach has a great community spirit and because of its small size it allows everyone to get to know each other.
I have two lovely boys, Liam and Christopher, who are both at school in Years 2 and 5. I enjoy my job which is fantastic to say about the work that you do, but I also love many other things such as camping, watching the Sydney Swans win a game, listening to a variety of music, dancing, going out with friends and travelling to new places.
